Let's play a game - Clovers # 33 and 34

I found two 4-Leaf Clovers in this clover patch.  They are both included in this picture.  Those are clovers number 33 and 34.  One is pretty much intact, the other, the lawnmower got to it before I did.  It's still 4-Leaves though, so it counts.

So, your job is to find the 4-Leaf Clovers...

My girlfriend found one in the picture but has never found one in real life.  Like a lot of people, she doesn't know how I do it.  I just zone in on them.  It's easy for me.  I'm just special I guess.  I'm also Irish and that helps.

The last 3 I found in one clover patch outside of the Dollar Store in Portland.  I gave one to the cashier saying, "Maybe you'll get lucky."

It is springtime and the clovers are popping up everywhere.  I found 5 just today.

Here's an oddity.  This is the 2nd one I've found in my life.  A 6-Leaf Clover.  It's hard to tell from the pic as one of the leaves is under the big one.  But they do exist.

I had to clean out my Leaf Press

I have two of these Leaf and Flower presses.  Both were full of 4-Leaf Clovers that I found last year.

I've been meaning to get another one, but I have to order it online.  Until then, I have to figure out what to do with these.

I found two yesterday, and three (so far) today.  That's a total of 5 in 2 days, although I could find more today.  I don't know.  It's still early.

It's safe to say that finding these things is my superpower.  I don't know how I do it either.  I just look and there they are.

This is the 12th 4-Leaf Clover of 2026.  It was windy so I couldn't get a good pic outside.

The picture also shows my messy desk.

Some four‑leaf clovers are delicate little things, hiding in the grass like they’re shy about being lucky. And then there are the bold ones — the kind that practically wave at you from the ground and say, “Hey, over here, I’m the one you’re looking for.”

Today’s find was exactly that kind of clover. My 11th four‑leaf clover of 2026, and easily one of the thickest, fullest, most “well-fed” clovers I’ve found so far this year. Each leaf is wide and rounded, almost like it grew with extra confidence. It’s the kind of clover that feels like it carries a little more luck than usual.

What I love about finds like this is how they break the stereotype. People imagine four‑leaf clovers as tiny, fragile rarities — but nature doesn’t always follow the script. Sometimes it gives you a big, bold mutation that looks like it’s been lifting weights all winter.

4-Leaf Clover # 10 was found during a dog walk on May 10th 2026.  It was raining so I brought it home and then took the picture.

I found 3 more while mowing the lawn

I had to mow the lawn and found three more 4-Leaf Clovers in the process.  The count is 7, 8 and 9.  

These two were found right next to each other.

And this one was found a little while later, on the other side of the house.

As you can see, they are all different.  Individuals so to speak.  Pretty cool huh?

We are finally getting some rain after last summers drought.  Therefore the clovers are starting to grow much bigger than the last few I found.

Above is the 5th 4-Leaf clover that I've found.  I found it a few days ago and forgot to post the picture.  Oh well.  Here it is.

The Dog's name is Merlin BTW.  He's a Lab/Greyhound Mix.  He's my buddy.  He's also the one who gets me out finding these things.
